Plastic meter seals are security devices used to protect utility meters, such as electricity, water and gas meters, from tampering or unauthorized access.
1. Cut the seal line of suitable length (if the seal is the kind with line itself, it is not necessary.
2. Pass a section of the seal line into the equipment to be sealed.
Electric twist meter seal are tamper-evident security seals that are used to protect utility meters from fraudulent activity on electric, water and power resources.
It has good anti-skid function, compact structure and excellent material, after sealing, the sealing line and the sealing body are integrated structure, which can not be restored after damage.
Manufacturer direct gas meter anti-counterfeiting seal is the best choice for public safety, suitable for electricity meters, gas meters, water meters, oil pipes and so on.
Gas meter tamper seal, wire seals, can be used to secure water and gas meters, preventing tampering and theft.
Tamper proof meter seals feature stainless steel wire with clear bodies and specially formulated acrylic inserts that are engineered to fracture upon tampering.
The lead seal is a one-time safety seal that ensures access to the water meter as well as the drum and hopper using wires. The wire runs through a hole in the metal disc and is crushed with the required safety seal to seal it.
What is Lead Seal
The Lead seal is a round lead seal product which is used in conjunction with any length of pre-cut or rolls of various wire types. Sealing pliers are required to clamp the lead seal to prevent slippage. The pliers can be used in conjunction with a customized die for a bespoke sealing solution.
Using lead seals offers numerous benefits in terms of both security and functionality. Here are the key advantages:
Tamper protection: Lead seals are difficult to counterfeit, minimizing the risk of tampering and forgery.
Ease of use: The simple sealing procedure makes these seals easy to apply, while their removal requires special tools.
Versatility: Lead seals can be used across various industries, making them a universal security solution.
Durability: Due to their high durability, lead seals provide long-lasting security regardless of environmental conditions.

Technical specifications

To ensure the highest quality and effectiveness, lead seals are available in various technical parameters. Here are the key specifications:
Material: High-quality lead, resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage.
Dimensions: Standard dimensions can be customized to meet specific client requirements.
Installation: Compatible with various types of sealing wire and string.
Weather resistance: Lead seals maintain their properties even in harsh environmental conditions.
Proper installation is key to the effectiveness of lead seals
Prepare the Seal
Select an appropriate size and prepare the wire (copper or stainless steel) to be used.
Thread the Wire
Pass the wire through the item to be sealed.
Attach the Seal
Position the lead seal on the wire and use a sealing tool to press it, imprinting a unique mark.
There are many types of lead seals, including traditional lead seals, plastic lead seals, and numbered lead seals:
Traditional lead seals
A traditional sealing method that uses lead, a soft, flexible, and malleable metal. Lead seals are crimped onto bags, bales, or textiles.
Plastic lead seals
An environmentally friendly alternative to traditional lead seals. Plastic seals are suitable for securing electrical meters and other equipment in the workplace.
Numbered lead seals
Lead seals with numbers to improve traceability. For example, the AC&M security lead and wire seal Model SW1000 is available with any length or style of wire and is consecutively numbered.
Lead wire seals
Available in different diameters and wire types and lengths.
Star numbered lead seals
A tamper evident seal with a star shaped portion and an oblong extension at the base for sequential numbering.
Lead seals are used in a variety of applications to protect and secure items, including:
1. Transportation: Protect cargo, crates, and transport containers from unauthorized access.
2. Energy: Secure gas meters, electric meters, and other measuring devices against tampering and theft.
3. Retail: Secure high-value goods and measuring devices to protect against theft.
4. Railway: Secure cargo on trains to prevent theft and tampering.
5. Military: Secure equipment and resources to protect against unauthorized access and tampering.
6. Electrical Installations: Protect electrical installations from intrusion.
7. Dangerous Products: Safeguard dangerous products from unauthorized access.

8. Merchandise: Protect merchandise from tampering.
9. Access Points: Secure doors and other access points.
10. Utilities: Protect water meters, gas meters, and electricity meters.
11. Fire Extinguishers: Ensure fire extinguishers are protected.
12. Customs: Used for customs sealing.
13. Calibration: Seal for calibration purposes.
14. Administration: Protection and sealing in administrative contexts.
15. Containers, Boxes, and Suitcases: Protect and seal various containers, boxes, and suitcases.
The material of the lead seal is not just lead
The types of lead seals include plastic seals, wire seals, high seal seals, instrument seals, etc.. Although they are not the same, they have a common name-lead seals. Literally, it may be mistaken for lead by people who have just been exposed to lead seal products. In fact, lead seal does not contain lead. When the lead seal industry first emerged, lead seal beans were the most common and were made of lead, but heavy metal lead had great harm to the environment. With the Advancement of science and technology, lead seal beans were replaced. For example, the material of the plastic seal is made of environmentally friendly and durable PP+PE material, and the steel wire lead seal is made of Q235A low-carbon steel and ABS plastic or aluminum alloy, which is very different from the original lead seal Bean.
There are many kinds of lead seals and different styles. Their materials will also be different. Protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility. Heavy metal lead has been replaced, and the use of environmentally friendly and durable materials can develop steadily for a long period of time.
How to choose suitable lead seal?
First, we must choose the seals with quality credibility and guarantee (products with no quality credit may lock not tightly and can not play the role of anti-theft);
Then, signing a contract before ordering. It is very important to require manufacturers to make sure not to provide the seals with same logo and the number to others ;
Third, Do not choose the type with same size and color as others (it's easy to be copied.)
Fourth, any product has a certain manufacturing costs, some low-priced products in the purchase must be noted (some manufacturers cut costs by cutting corners to reduce costs).
Lead seals are made from a variety of materials, including lead, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and tinned:
Lead
Lead tamper seals are made from 99.9% pure lead and are one of the oldest types of security seals. Lead is soft, flexible, and malleable, making it easy to press down onto sealing wire.
Aluminum
Aluminum seals are resistant to extreme weather conditions and are often used in combination with stainless steel seal wire.
Stainless steel
Stainless steel is used in natural lead seals, which are designed to seal electrical installations.
Copper
Copper is used in lead and wire seals, which are often used with small diameter openings such as drums, hoppers, and valves.
Tinned
Tinned is used in lead and wire seals.
